I got nothing to show lately because I'm either working on my portfolio, trying to get pass another work week or wasting my time on RO again. I'm still trying to save up enough for that cintiq which isn't happening anytime soon. Oh btw, nice try.

motivation

is something I lack for a while. Being in a hot summer environment really brings me down. I`ve been working on a content management system which will take a while to finish. I may post a few odd quick pictures in the near future whenever I get the chance.

It`s been a while

I finished up the sinx series and it`s about time too. I quickly got to work on wolfgirl01 and finished that too. It turned out pretty well and it`s off to the next picture. omgfurries is relieved to receive an update after a long drought. However, it`ll endure another one as I try to finish off more sketches I have lying around.

I shunned mmorpgs for 2 months and so far I have gotten a bit more productive with my creative cravings. I now bring you a few sketches I created in the last few days. It`s about time I began expanding the subjective part of my drawing.

slow and steady

I finished sinx02 and the next one (the development picture is already up) should go faster coming closer to the end of a four part series. Then I can cut them up, shrink them and make a forum signature or perhaps a wallpaper. It is a fitting and ironic end to time wasting effort of vector pushing. Plus I can crop out the parts I`m not too fond of. I got rid of the animation, articles and webworks section. I have enough to do as it is to worry about those sections.

I finally got around to update a few things on the site. I moved the sketches I plan to work with to the sketches section under scans and left the development area to pictures in development. I also added a few sketches I recently made and skipped work on girlguy to work on the sinx series. I am still not too fond of how I did the guy's face but I will finish it eventually.

on holiday

I'm lazily enjoying my holiday vacation and the days are just flying by. Work and stress is just around the corner. I haven't planned on doing any drawing during this vacation, not digitally anyway. I'm spending the time I have left to sketch some new pictures, even though I have a lot of sketches I haven't touched yet. I'm sure some sketches will never be touched again.

girlguy...

I'm continuing work on girlguy and I realize just how slow it is to do just one part of the face. I'm considering switching to painting instead. That won't happen if I don't have a good input device to work with and no, the tablet disconnects my eyes from the pen. Girlguy isn't working out the way I want simply because I'm adding more human like features to it such as a real nose (sort of) and certain other features which shouldn't show up on anime faces. I'll work on it further and see if it's tolerable. If not, I won't hesitate to start over on it.
